Hello everyone,

So despite our few hotfixes, Yoroi and Kidoumaru still need a good swift kick to bring them down to size. So a small balance this time. Can't really see how well or not well everyone else is doing with these two monsters running around.

Hotfix #2:  We are just full of hotfixes this week, aren't we?

Kidoumaru: +1 cooldown, to 2, to his Spiral Web.

Hopefully this shall calm things down enough for the weekend to come.

Hotfix: As a quick mention. We didn't want to wait a whole week to do this, especially since they were getting a bit out there. But we have done a small hotfix to the following:

Yoroi: +1 Random to Chakra Focus Switch 

Jiroubou: Fixed a glitch on Chamber that made it unusable when he was the only one alive, and added a random to its cost.

Reason for that is both characters had exceeded a 60% win ratio, and were looking to just take over. So we wanted to be a bit pro-active on this.

Hello,

So, today we got some stuff, so we'll be short on the verbosity. Iruka, Mizuki, Yoroi and the Sound 5 have all been optimized. Additionally, Yoroi now has his old buddy Misumi added into the game. A few missions and character groups have seen some change too, and Haku's mission has now been changed to be an actual mission.

 

Tsurugi Misumi 

A sound village genin that infiltrated Konoha as a spy, Misumi likes taking the initiative, preferring to be the first to strike in combat. With his unique abilities, Misumi can flex his muscles and bones, twisting them to wrap around his enemies, or even defend his allies.

Hi, guys.

Super quick and small balance here, mainly to nerf 3 people we over-boosted last time.

As a reminder though, we want to remind people that the characters we have not yet optimized that have affliction skills have dual-affliction skills. That means Affliction/Physical, Affliction/Chakra, etc. This means characters that reduce non-affliction damage like say a Ten-Ten will reduce that damage, because those affliction skills have not yet become full affliction. So until that happens, and we mentioned this before, certain affliction skills will not function properly. But with time, everything will be ok.

Hi, guys,

I wanted to make a mostly quick new post to talk about a few things.

Missions

We talked about this on the last balance, but allow me to elaborate. As we go along, and optimize each character, we will review their missions as well. The things we will be doing to the missions and mission groups are as follows:

1. Removing Pre-Req missions. Zabuza's mission for example, required another mission to be done. That mission has been removed. As we go through each character, their Pre-Req missions will be removed too.

2. Combining Character Groups. Young Kakashi group no longer exists. It has been merged into the Hatake Kakashi group. This is because they are both Kakashi. This was done to make missions simpler, reduce Character Group clutter and just make everyone's mission life a little less painful. This will take a while, especially since there are a ton of redudancy in the system right now. Eventually, for example, every single Naruto character will be usable in any mission that requires to use or beat Naruto.

3. Fixing Mission Goals. Some missions have awful goals. They will be fixed. This will be done through a combination of #2, and just outright removing those goals for newer better ones.

4. Mission Sections. You guys should have noticed some new mission sections. These are currently test sections and subject to change, but the idea is eventually we want to move them and organize them far better than they are. A section called "ALL NEW MISSIONS HERE!" that is stuffed full of all missions, regardless of connection is not acceptable and is something we will fix. 

Balances

I wanted to make a note here to sate some curiousities. In general, our acceptable win percentages when doing balances is 45% to 55%. This will vary depending on the usage of the character, their team win percentages, and how they have been performing in the last several months. We do a lot of math and equations when looking at these, and of course, stats are not the only things we look at as of course, numbers can always be off. But on average, a character at 60% win percent, like Shino was, will be nerfed, or a character at 40%, will be boosted.

Hopefully that cleared some things on what we are doing and why. And as always, more to come soon.

Hi, everybody.

So let's get down to business right away.

Firstly, every character between Young Kakashi and Shigure has been updated, as before.

Additionally, since some of these characters are locked character, allow us to explain what we are doing with missions:

1. Removing all pre-req missions. Missions will now be straight up, "you want to do this mission? then do it". Empty missions, and un-connected missions being pre-reqs will no longer be. Zabuza's mission for example needed an empty mission to be done before you could do his. This mission is now gone.

2. Fixing the character groups. Young Kakashi is Hatake Kakashi. Any mission that for example needs Hatake Kakashi to be either used, or fought against, will now let you instead use Young Kakashi if you so desire. Likewise, all missions that involved Young Kakashi have been changed to Hatake Kakashi. This will be an on-going fix, like #1 above, that will take a very long time, especially since currently, there are many convoluted groups that make no sense in the game. With time, they will be fixed.

3. Fixing goals. Some goals suck. They will be fixed.

Additionally, we have decided to make Haku a locked character by default. Now, for the next 2 weeks, Haku's mission will be a simple "Win 1 game" in order to allow existing players to unlock him in a few minutes tops. After two weeks, the mission will be changed to be proper.
