Clan Biography |
|
Kihaku Kousei was started by Robbyfer shortly after SS was disbanded under the name "Soul Society 2". FatDog though, didn?t want us to use Soul Society as name, so we had to come up with a new name. Kihaku Kousei was one of 5+ different names I posted on our forums. But since it sounded best, we decided on it. Kihaku Kousei, in English meaning "Soul Rebirth" was supposed to be Soul Societys rebirth and we worked hard to make it a second SS. Soon we had to accept the fact that leading a clan wasn?t easy, making it a second SS was even harder, it was impossible. We had a lot of bad and good times though. Our biggest problem was the amount of members that kept leaving, while getting (good) members was rather difficult. After Robby and I were invited to join Aenigma, which many ex-SS members were in, we weren?t sure what to do. But i promised Robby to, no matter for clan he decides, I?d follow him. But it took long for him to decide, any by the time he decided for Aenigma, I became way too attached to KK than being able to leave it for another clan. I broke my promise, and Robby went to Aenigma without me. Despite the fact that AE and school were consuming a lot of Robbys time, he was still able to secretly lead KK with Vampuric_Nick, Darkangelmace and me as sub Leaders. Soon Robby completely vanished, and the three of us had to take over. We decided on sharing the positions between us, and letting our members decide on things alongside with us. So every time one of the Leaders had an idea, we set a poll up to let the members decide whether they liked it or not. It went well until V_N vanished as well due to school. Shortly after, DA said he had to leave for boot camp. So I ended up being the lone leader of KK. I never wanted to take Leadership from the beginning, and only joined under the condition to not have to act like a leader. But i could let the clan die, so i did everything i could to keep it alive. But then once again school came to get me, the last leader. I announced a "democracy" in KK, stating that from now own the members will decide on everything on their own and keep KK alive. After 2 weeks of being highly in-active i came back to see how they?re doing without me. The result was: Half the clan left, leaving us only with the first members that were in KK. I stopped working for school and came back to save KK. My grades fell rapidly, but i didn?t care since it was for the sake of KK. Even then though, we had several down-times and were at the point of being about to disband. I asked KKs members if they wanted to disband, since we were having huge problems. The answer was: No. We worked hard on changing everything. We re-worked the clan-setup, removing the divisions and came up with a new theme, The Phoenix. It was supposed symbolize what we stand for, a rebirth, not only of SS, but our own rebirth as well. We changed the clans emblem and even moved to new forums. We managed to survive, and become an even greater clan than before. In the end, none of the former leaders came back. But then, DA returned after half a year, and started to "help out" a clan. He then joined Soul Society-Reborn, a clan made by Kakashirules. I was extremely pissed, but I got used to being a leader so it wasn?t that much of a problem. Then, once again we unexpectedly had several great members leaving. We changed our application form and hardly accepted people anymore, so that we could assure that only people got in who really seemed sincere about joining and staying in KK. Several things were added since then, such as Clan Signatures, A video with a little text to each member and a random gif, a co-Leader, a group made especially for tourneys and warring and a new video with each members' Signature including a little comment for every member. Now, after one whole year, we have accomplished something that most clans can dream off, but about 90% of them will never get to the point of being able to celebrate their 1 year anniversary. I?m proud that we got to live this long, and am proud of every member who is still a member. |
