The next batch of Shippuden characters and their missions are here!

Sakura (S)
With her extensive training under Tsunade, the Godaime, for the last two and a half years, Sakura's healing and combat abilities have both greatly improved.

Tenten (S)
After nearly three years Tenten is now a chuunin. In this time she has improved the diversity and strength of her ranged arsenal.

Chiyo (S)
The grandmother of Sasori and elder ninja of the Sand Village, Chiyo is a well known and accomplished puppet master and builder.

Itachi Body Double (S)
By using one of Pein's techniques a Sand Nin spy for Akatsuki is changed to look like Itachi. The body double is controlled by Itachi but only has a third of his chakra.

Have fun and enjoy the new characters!

It’s been a long wait, but the servers have finally arrived! They are now up and running, and should help us provide a more stable game environment with more players online. This will most likely lessen server disconnects and heavy slowdown during peek hours.

The game interface has also received some minor tweaks. You can select and de-select characters by double clicking in the selection menu, effects that can be stacked are now shown in a single icon, and the game speed has been slightly increased.

This also means that the new characters will be arriving very soon!

It's wise to not player ladder games till everything looks stable!

EDIT: Good news! Arena3 is back up again.

Hi all,

Last weekend one of our game servers, arena3, went down because of overload. It is not sure what got damaged yet. Although we are trying to expand and get more servers, we have just lost one. We hope to see it back online soon. Meanwhile you can expect slow load times. It might not be good to play ladder games till Arena3 is backup (if you care about your statistics).

Sorry for the inconvinience.

Major bug fixes, custom backgrounds and more!
Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 11:44 by Mark

Balance change: the defence reduction on Gaara's desert coffin now lasts 3 turns.

Finally, an update many of you have been waiting for! We have been working hard to fix many of the bugs and glitches in the game, and this update is the result. We have made some major adjustments to the engine, and most of the bugs and glitches people found should be gone now.

These are just a few examples of the bugs that are fixed:

  • The problem of incorrect rounding of damage and improve effects which caused Lee to die in gates and caused Toad Bind to incorrectly increase damage.
  • Ino's Mind Body Disturbance is able to hit through invulnerability effects again.
  • Sasuke’s Sharingan now works properly again.
  • Sakura’s Inner Sakura now works properly.
  • And far more!

The flash has also received a small upgrade. There is now an extra sound fx when a character dies and buttons have been added to reduce and increase volume.

The biggest upgrade is the ability to adjust the backgrounds of the flash. Next to the regular moving background, the flash now also features a lite version. In the lite version the background is static, and thus requires less processing power from your computer. (Please note that the lite version does not reduce lag in anyway, this is a problem on the server side.) Lastly the flash also features custom backgrounds. You are now able to select your own background picture for both the character selection and the battle screen!

Next on the list is acquiring more servers!

You can discuss the update and ask questions here.
